Fiscal Sponsorship Meeting the Moment: Field Risks & Responses

The fiscal sponsorship field stewards a tremendous diversity of our civil society work, we estimate upwards of 50,000 projects and close to $25 billion in project resources. The field is also one of the key resources that is and will continue to be a bulwark of defense and collective action against the various attacks on our sector. As a result, we need to look at our own strengths and vulnerabilities relative to the risks in the swiftly evolving environment. Building on the field scan, Social Impact Commons has completed some analyses of the broader fiscal sponsor ecosystem, resulting in a report on risks and responses for the field as a whole. Join us for a presentation and discussion of what we're seeing in the data, how we might respond to the continued closing of civic space, and where we see opportunities for investment and growth amidst the current crisis.
