The Why and How of Enterprise Accounting - Insights Into Systems for Fiscal Sponsors

As a fiscal sponsor, your accounting system is perhaps the most critical system that you maintain. Our research and direct experience in the field reveals significant underinvestment in accounting systems within the field, largely owing to the expense and effort of moving from QuickBooks to a true enterprise solution.

We will also cover general recommendations and insights into the process of implementing an enterprise accounting systems, highlighting the significant operating efficiencies and improvement in project support that such systems enable, when implemented well. For comprehensive sponsors operating at scale and multi-program fiscal sponsors, a true multi-entity system is essential. For other cases, QuickBooks can be sufficient.

This session is open to all, but particularly targeted toward established Model “A” fiscal sponsors, as well as larger nonprofits that offer programs outside of fiscal sponsorship.
